Corpses will decompose whether in wood caskets or not

W ood caskets may seem a lowly option for those who wish to bury their loved ones in a manner befitting royalty, but ultimately whether a corpse is buried in a wood casket or a titanium one, it will decompose without a doubt. Burying a body inside an expensive casket will not preserve the integrity of the body, for it is the natural order of things that every single body will disintegrate into bones. When a loved one dies it’s quite usual for those left behind to want a burial and funeral that will either live up to the luxurious lifestyle that the deceased may have been accustomed to, or one that the deceased may not necessarily have afforded when alive but give them dignity – and no doubt stature – in the afterlife. For this reason, the type of casket purchased as well as all other intricacies involved in the burial process revolve around this, and so it is no wonder that loved ones tasked with this responsibility will want to select the ‘best’ possible option. The best option may mean a number of things depending on one’s budget, but ultimately the truth that many would rather not hear is that the deceased’s body will dissolve to almost nothing regardless of the kind of casket purchased. Death is such a polirizing affair, both within families and amongst those who have little to no relation to the deceased. So polirizing is death that matters as seemingly inconsequential as the kind of casket the deceased ought to be buried in causes divergent and visceral opinions. Yet whether the option is between wood caskets or the array of options available, the deceased will perish in the flesh as they have in every other way.
