oot pain top of foot is a pain that many people can relate to. Some people experience this pain as a result of wearing shoes that are either not well fitting an thus too tight, or because of shoes that lace up too. Whatever the reason is that pang of sharp pain that seems to overtake ones entire foot is all too familiar.
While the pain can be an isolated sensation, easing off with the right medical attention; it can also lead to further pain and discomfort in other areas of the leg. Like most minor ailments that are left untreated, a minor pain on the top of the foot could travel to the rest of the leg. If for instance there is tendon inflammation on the foot that is not remedied accordingly, and the very foot that is inflamed is still functioning as if it were not inflamed, then the damage becomes ever more extensive, affecting other parts of the leg which were otherwise unaffected by the foot inflammation. It is thus that an isolated pain in the foot leads to pain in larger parts of the leg.
Providing the necessary medical attention to the foot pain top of foot is the best way to ensure that the pain on the foot does not migrate to other parts of the leg.
