I t is inevitable for people to grow up and start relying on themselves for self-sustenance. However, it has been discovered that a third of employers are unhappy with graduates' attitude to work and even fear to hire them. The millennial generation is impatient and actually, think they can become rich overnight and quickly. This is actually contrary to reality since such things do not happen in the real world. You have to build yourself from the ground up and that is what these millennials do not understand.

lack of self-management and resilience

It is therefore not a surprise receiving such complaints from employers considering the lack of self-management and resilience noted. The fact that they are not prepared for the real world begs the question as to what university education really taught. Communication skills and business etiquette are actually what is required in the real world for operations to be conducted successfully. The business world is growing creating a vacuum only suited for professionals due to the level of skill required. All this is however needless if graduates lack customer awareness that leads to massive losses being experienced. All these problems actually lead to delay to success since leadership positions are not given by a whim. The fact that a third of employers are unhappy with graduates' attitude to work comes to show that university education should focus on key areas that happen in the real world as well as academically.
