H awaii is a famous tourist destination owing to its special beauty. It is the most recent state to join the United States of America, and wholly comprises of 8 islands. These are, the Island of Hawaiʻi Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Kahoʻolawe, Maui and Lānaʻi. It is located in Oceania, the only state outside North America. Holidaying in Hawaii is sure to be amazing and out of this world for families, surfers, biologists, and even volcanologists. Some etiquette tips when visiting Hawaii: carry a gift if you are visiting someone and don’t forget to take your shoes off before entering their home. If you are planning to make the best of your visit to this beautiful state, check these out during your stay. North Shore of Oahu With truly amazing beaches and not many tourists, this is a magical place to spend time for families, singles and couples. Be sure to watch out for established surfers on the Banzai Pipeline, and maybe catch a surfing championship contest. Other famous surf spots on the North shore are the Sunset beach and Waimea Bay. Haleakala National Park This area surrounds the East Maui Volcano, a shield Volcano that peaks at more than 10,000 feet. The best ways to enjoy this view is by hiking where you can follow several trails, among them the Pipiwai Trail. Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park Visit here to mostly learn how the Hawaiian islands were formed. Learn about Kīlauea and Mauna Loa volcanoes and don’t forget to ask about the Goddess Pele, as the site is referred to as her home. Before visiting Hawaii, please consider the best time of the year to visit in regards to the weather. Hawaii has two seasons annually, winter and summer.
