H ypo-tension, more commonly known as low blood pressure, is a condition which affects millions of people all over the world. Low blood pressure is usually related to pregnant women, people who suffer from heart and endocrine problems and even to those who don't follow a healthy enough diet and lifestyle in general. When it comes to the symptoms of hypo-tension or low blood pressure, the most common ones include dizziness or lightheadedness as well as sporadic fainting and blurred vision. But low blood pressure can also cause those who suffer with it to find it hard concentrating and it can also cause nausea and extreme fatigue which means living a normal life can sometimes be pretty hard. Luckily, though, there are certain things people with low blood pressure can do to make sure they lead pretty normal lives. Eating healthily is strongly recommended, which means avoiding as many processed foods as possible and substituting them with vegetables, fruits, fish and white meat. But exercising is also extremely important for people with low blood pressure. There is no need to join a gym, but it is vital to do cardio for at least thirty minutes about three times a week. Even fast-paced walks can benefit a person who suffers from hypo-tension. [Photo: news.feinberg.northwestern.edu]
