In March this year,
Renault has released their much anticipated and latest version of
Clio cars. In an attempt to catch up with the premium city
cars, the
2019 model of Renault Clio has many similar design features of their Talisman sedan and Megane hatch. Let’s find out all the things you should know about this car:
On a first few glances, the fifth-generation Clio looks the same of its predecessor. However, the latest Clio has a shortened wheelbase, comes sporting some new headlights and taillights. While keeping the beloved handle less back doors from the previous version. For some, it may look like a baby version of Megane, and that’s not a bad thing. There are also all-LED headlights available for the whole range.
While it may look dated on the outside, the
Renault Clio 2019 comes with a fully re-designed interior. With emphasis on no look control, they have replaced some controls with the buttons. It also has the largest centrally-positioned display in this segment. Equipped with the Easy Link connected system, it’s easier than ever to interact, or access online contents and services. It also feels spacious despite being compact in size, with coated plastics and huge customization options giving it a premium feel.
Great Engine Options
Although, not available right now, Renaults Clio would have a hybrid propulsion system powered by 1.2-kWh battery. Currently, there are six different, both gas and diesel based engine options with 65 to 114 horsepower.
Base model starting at $16,640; Renaults Clio is a more affordable, compact car than a
Ford Fiesta or such.
