e’ve been closely watching the catwalks for all our favorite spring and summer make-up trends, so we can bring them back to you! Check out all the beautiful details below and get ready for one fresh spring!
Red Lips
Alexander McQueen brings a whole lotta strength to your face with strong red lips and a French-inspired elegance. The emphasis here is on minimalism with a classic feel: think jet-black mascara and eyeliner and clearly defined lips.
Add Some Glitter
To bring your classic look from corporate queen to evening diva, the catwalks encourage you to add a sprinkle of glitter to your look. Sparkles showed up throughout the shows. Make up artist Val Garland (for Giambattista Valli) covered her models’ faces entirely in glitter – you may not want to go full face, but a little cleverly placed shine on the lips, eyelids, brows and cheekbones will have you feeling like a superstar in no time.
Be Bold
Neons and bold colour combos also show their face a fair bit this season with Chromat, Sies Marjan and Tibi all adding a pop of playful colour to the eye area in particular. If you want to mix things up, try these bold shades on your lips as well!
The big message here for all make up fiends is that colour is in, but with a minimalist slant. Enjoy the season and paint a bit of sunshine on your face!
