aser spin surgery has been a widely controversial topic over the years. While some some believe it is an improvement from the traditionary used techniques, others have been more skeptical.
Basically, Laser spin sugery is not used alone as a procedure but oftenly, it is done alongside minimal invasive techniques. Over the years since its conception, practioneers have openly found the laser spin surgery to be efficient and effective as compared to traditional surgical method.
Hower, using a laser in Laser spin surgery does not mean that the procedure will be incision free, in fact an incision will be needed, where a laser would be directed to appropriate areas.
In its procedural operation,a laser is inserted into an incision, which would enure that the soft tissue get to be removed. It is always a mis conception that the majority of work will be done by a laser, while in fact the laser only plays a small role in the procedure.
Addationally, use of a laser does not gurantee a successfull operation as whilst laser is considered -up-to-date technology ,some surgical procedure would be better of used by a scaplet .The is becouse,a laser is a straight beam of light and therefore lacks the abilty to move around corners, making it somehow unapropriate in surgical operation involving bends.Besides a laser uses heat to cut small tissues which inreturn may damage some organs.
Patients should always consider their best option before taking a spine surgeon from their practioneer. As much as Laser spin surgery is up to date technology, a wrong assumption would be to consider it as the best in all cases. In fact traditional methods have worked for many years and are still considered reliable and effecient. To it's disadvantage, risk of burning organs and inability for the laser to bend makes wanting, the use of laser in Laser Spine Surgery.
