W hen you only have two weeks for a vacation, and you choose Europe as your ideal destination, you are sure to find a considerable task deciding where to go, how to travel, where to stay and how long to spend in one place or another. In a continent with so much to offer, here are some tips on how to make your vacation most memorable. COUNTRIES AND HOTELS The following are some of the countries that come highly recommend to include in your itinerary. Spain Spend four days here, 2 in Barcelona at the Majestic Hotel & Spa which is near Gaudi’s Casa Batlló. In Sevilla, stay in celebrity favorite EME Catedral Hotel. Italy Stay in Venice for three days at the Palazzo Veneziano which is less than a mile from the city. England Get a two day stay in London, staying at the Rosewood London hotel, nestled among top attractions like the British Museum. Ireland Best for golf lovers, Dublin is the best place for you and home should be the exciting Royal Portrush Golf Club- Dunluce, and you can stay at the Hope cottage, about 3km away from the club. France Paris has to make this list, and like London, book a two day stay at the Shangri-La Hotel and pick a room with a balcony which will offer a good view of the Eiffel tower. TRANSPORT While there are many ways of transportation around Europe, I am going to recommend cruises. Cruises are going to add more fun to your vacation and below are some of the best. 6 Barcelona to Venice Cruise- the Rhapsody of the Seas This cruise takes you from Spain to Italy through France. On the Rhapsody of the Seas, you depart Barcelona on the first day, to Monte Carlo in Cannes, France on the second. On the third day, you get to Rome, Italy on to Naples, Sicily and finally Venice. 12 Night British Isles Aboard the Royal Princess, depart Southampton on a journey that takes you back to Southampton, passing through Guernsey, Cork, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Invergordon, Edinburgh and Le Harve.
