Although this might come as a surprise, sleeping about 7 or 8 hours every night might help you keep the weight off. Sleeping for less than 7 hours will cause the chemicals in your blood to change which are the ones that control your appetite. That means you might feel hungry even when your body has had enough food which will cause you to eat more and therefore gain weight.
Of course, another important part of keeping the weight off is to follow a healthy diet. Eating your favorite foods might make you happy, but they can also make you gain weight. You should stop eating processed foods and concentrate on eating more pasta, vegetables, fruits, fish and white meats.
And last, but not least, you need to exercise to keep the weight off. Do cardio exercises at least 3 times a week for about 30 minutes each time and you will definitely lose weight. You can decide whether you want to go running, ride a bike or just go for fast-paced walks around your city, the important thing is you stay active.
