P lanning a Thanksgiving dinner sometimes can be hectic for people. There is the aspect of the food itself, family, and other things. The following are tips to see you through the day, keeping in mind that the party is about giving thanks and doing so with your family. Plan ahead. Don’t wait until the day is with you to decide on which dishes to cook. Those you aren't going to make yourself, make sure to delegate to others in time. Thanksgiving is an outstanding dinner that is to be treated seriously and treated as such. Do your shopping on time, print recipes, and prepare food that needs to be ready for cooking. Be realistic. Hosting this party is unique, and as such, treat people to the basic traditional meals they expect like mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberry sauce and pie among others. After doing this, add a little style to the dishes. Work on presentation. Check your inventory to assess what you have plus what you need. These are items like linens, enough chairs to accommodate the family and very importantly, room around the table. Your decorations also fall in this category, the flowers, vases and more. You could include some snacks on the table, like nuts, fruits, etc. Make plans for the leftovers.  Keep them clean and safe as they will still be healthy for the next day.
