n general students attend an average of 180 school days per year. The rest of the time is spent on weekends and holidays to help students look forward to those holidays from their regular studies.
School holiday provides students with the mental break that they need to be engaged when they go back to school; these school vacations encourage and give students the mental boost they need to perform well in class because when they resume their studies they usually have freshened up their minds.
During school holiday, parents spend time together with their children. The parents can give advice to their kids on how to grow as responsible adults in the society. School breaks can also be used as a bonding session by parents and kids.
During the breaks, the kids can also go for a holiday.
Another focus behind such school breaks is that kid can also learn about new culture and the society in general. Schoolwork becomes a child's routine job especially in junior high and high school.
Students need classroom break occasionally because spending all day in class actively learning is tiring, and there is a limited amount of outside world that they can learn. Teachers also benefit a lot during holidays because they spend more time with their families
During the breaks, university and college have ample time to complete their large project assignment that wouldn't ordinarily fit into their regular school schedule and probably something that can be done during a semester. Holiday also improves study habits for both students and teachers.
However, it is proper to take note that during the school breaks kids especially in high school should be under consistently monitored with their parents and guardians becuause this is the stage that most kids engage in vices such as drugs, alcohol, and pre-marital sex.
