S ubaru has enjoyed an increase in sales over the years especially with their Legacy, Impreza and Outback brands, attracting a significant number of customers in the US market. When it comes to performance, Impreza STi and Impreza WRX have topped this list followed closely by their BRZ sports car. The Subaru Forester has also been a major player in the compact crossover segment. In a bid to up their game in 2019, Subaru will be releasing the new Subaru Forester. The vehicle has an impressive 2.5 litre engine, a new CVT transmission and a remarkable Driver-focus system. This system comprises of a driver focussed camera with facial recognition that enables the driver to control the mirrors, arrange the cabin and also set the car’s climate. The Forester is estimated to go for $ 22,000 to $40,000. Another entry in the market will be the Subaru Ascent. The brand-new SUV has a 2.4 litre engine and three rows making it one of the most spacious SUV ever built. When it comes to safety, the Ascent has a lane departure warning and an automatic rear braking on top of blind spot warning. This car will cost you $32,970. We will also get to see the upgraded Subaru Legacy. It comes in two versions with the fuel economy version fitted with a 2.5 litre engine with 175 horsepower, while the power-driven version will have a 3.6 litre engine. Both trims will also have a pre-collision brake system and lane keeping assist. The Legacy costs $30,130 for the fuel economy engine and $32,430 for the 3.6 litre engine. Subaru will also release a new Crosstrek that has more room for cargo and passengers. It has a raised suspension up to 8.7 inches off the ground making it comfortable off road. You will have to part with $21,895 to $ 27,195 for this one.
