ith a slight decline in the sales of vehicles in 2017, Kia hopes to revolutionize the brand by upgrading almost every vehicle in the line up. The first vehicle that will be revamped in 2019 is the Optima. Being the first upgrade since 2016, Kia has introduced an automatic emergency braking feature, lane departure warning and lane keeping assist. It will have a 2.4 litre engine with 4 cylinders and 185 horsepower. The sedan will also have an upgraded frontal look but retain the same interior. The price is expected to range from $24,795.
The next vehicle is the popular Kia Sportage compact-crossover SUV. It looks better and more comfortable on the road. It comes with a new 1.6 litre diesel engine with a few extra touches on the exterior and interior. It is expected to have a new dashboard and an 8-inch display touch screen. On safety it has a rear traffic alert and a blind spot monitor. The price range is $24,745 to $35,595. Next up is the luxurious Kia K900 that is now longer and wider meaning more space for passengers. It has a 3.3 litre V6 turbo engine with 365-hors power and a 17 speaker Harman sound system. The Kia K900 is expected to cost over $50,000.
Kia has also introduced the upgraded Sorento with a major facelift on the headlights and bumper. The taillights have also been modified to compete with its competitors. It still has two engines with the base being 2.4 litre four-cylinder-engine and the stronger one being the 3.3 litre v6 engine. The V6 produces 290 horsepower while the other has 185 horsepower. It is also more spacious sitting up to seven passengers at a time and has added safety features. It is likely to cost you about $26,980.
