The Elantra will have a few frontal changes on the headlights as the tail lights get a few touches as well. The price is expected to start from $14,500 to $20,000 making it affordable. The engine is expected to be the same with 2.0 litres with 147 horsepower while the turbo engine will be 1.4 litres producing 128 horsepower. The sports grade will get a 1.6 litres turbo engine with 201 horse power. Another addition to the line up is the Sonata that has been in the market since 1985. The major addition to the Sonata will be its technology advancement while maintaining its stylish and spacious look. It will also have a 2.4 litre engine producing 185 horsepower. For the new hybrid models, Sonata will combine a 2 litres engine with an electric motor and a battery pack leading to 193 horsepower. Coming back in its second generation, the Hyundai Veloster N aims to improve on the older versions both in performance and looks. For starters, the N version comes in blue, black, white and red colours with a red trim below the grille. It reaches an impressive 275 horsepower now that it is equipped with a 2-litre turbo engine. It’s expected to be a front wheel only drive car but, on the upside, it comes with a 6-manual gearbox. The price is expected to be between $30,000 and $40,000. Another car that will surely excite the US market is the Kona EV. It’s likely that it will have a 250 miles range and will be fitted with the 64kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The car’s electric motor will give it 201 horsepower and  an acceleration speed of 7.5 seconds. The starting price will be around $30,000.
