G etting a Hunter Douglas repair should only be a once off affair. Not because there’s anything magical that they do to the repair that it doesn’t need to be brought back for a second or a third repair, but because once a household item has been repaired once after damage, any further damage after that will compromise the aesthetic of the item. Most people are seriously attached to their personal belongings as well as those belongings they keep in their home. And it’s perfectly understandable given that most people work tirelessly in order to be able to afford these very things. So when an item gets damaged, the instinctual response is to rather repair it as opposed to buying a new one, especially if the damage can be repaired. But a damaged item is only good for one repair, for anything more than that will compromise the aesthetic and sometimes even the mechanical integrity of it.
