here are many places in the world-renowned as favorite tourist attractions. These are the places that encourage us in our day to day lives living in the hopes of one day visiting one day. However, though easy to find out about and access, other lesser known places are perfectly capable of leaving even better memories. In this article, I'm going to discuss some hidden gems in beautiful places one should make time to visit from different continents in the world.
Blue Hole, Ocho Rios, Jamaica
This is one place in the world you need to visit with a fully charged battery camera. It is purely magnificent, and the best thing is that you will not find many people here which means you have a lot of freedom exploring it as well as its surroundings. This place is surrounded by beautiful greenery and has clear blue water. Nearby you will find beautiful waterfalls called Uslang Guy Falls.
Ithaa Undersea Restaurant, the Maldives
There is no better way to enjoy a delicious meal than be 5 meters below the Indian ocean in an all-glass restaurant which allows you to see fish swim all around you. This unique restaurant owned by Conrad Hotels measures 5 meters by 9 meters and has space for 14 dinners at a time.
Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
These feature 16 lakes joined by waterfalls that are separated by natural dams of travertine. The colors of these waters are known to range between azure, blue, green and even grey depending on the amount/quantity of minerals in the water as well as the angle of sunlight.
Caochangdi Art District, China
This quiet and peaceful area is home to modern Chinese art galleries. Visit here and learn about Chinese art and interact with locals living in the villages surrounding the district.
Kariba Caves, Kenya
These well-hidden caves are located in Nyeri County in Kenya. They are known to have been a favorite hideout for the Mau Mau warriors during the country's struggle for independence. Named after the war's General Kariba, these caves are located in a quiet and peaceful village, and there's a river that runs through it called Rui Ruiru ( black river) and a beautiful waterfall located right at the entrance to the caves.
